Fitness & Realtors

It’s about more than selling houses, realtors know a bit about hard work as they hustle to keep up with a potentially demanding and unpredictable schedule. Their workday can ask a lot of them which is why fitness is key.

When exercise is a priority for a realtor they can benefit in the following ways:

  1. Consistent energy – workouts that give a boost to get going are the best kind of workouts. Strength training, swimming, stair climbing, cycling, yoga ... it all counts as movement that can help get the blood pumping and muscles primed for a busy day or help you wind down when things get chaotic. Plus more energy means better productivity in the office and beyond.

  2. Increased confidence – if you can get through a tough workout, you can manage a stressful workday. Regular and challenging exercise reminds us of how strong we are physically and mentally. The amount of problem solving and logistics a realtor has thrown their way can lead to burn out when proper decompressing and ‘you got this’ moments aren’t in place.

  3. You just never know – a realtor never knows when they may be on their feet or sitting all day. Possibly driving, lifting, walking up and down flights of stairs, carrying signs or other products or equipment related to their work. This is why strength is king. To keep aches and pains at bay and improve overall fitness for functionality's sake, why not get some movement in?

Michael’s testimonial: "Real estate is 24/7 with constant pulls in different directions and handling multiple transactions at the same time. By focusing on fitness as a starting point of the day, it has given me the energy to get through the day. As I work through transactions and meet with clients I can use that discipline of working out to focus on the specific task at hand. Most people are working on goals so the gym naturally becomes a point of discussion with clients."

So, what’s all the hype about? Schedule some time to get moving and find out for yourself! The Stevens Point Area is chalk full of places and spaces for fitness. We can’t wait to see you out there!
