Balancing Gym Life & nice weather

Do I need my gym membership?? We get it! Spring is here, it's great to get outside. We agree BUT your gym membership is still worth your time and money.

Check out these 4 tips for balancing gym life with spring and summer weather:

  1. Have a Plan - Go into the gym with intention to cut down on your overall time spent there. Time wondering/wandering is time wasted.

  2. Inside = Outside - Plan workouts that mimic your outdoor life. Think strength for play and carrying outdoor objects, balance work for walks, running, biking and core for ... all movement.

  3. Make it a Meet Up - Go to the gym with a friend(s) for accountability and fun. After the workout, go enjoy some outdoor activities together.

  4. Combine the Time - If you’re dreading going to the gym because the sun’s out, spend time outside to get there! Walk, bike, or jog on the nearby trails to get there, then enjoy a workout.

Don’t risk losing the gains you’ve made. Keep your membership for a rainy day ;) and stay consistent. Your fitness is counting on it.
